The side rails are constructed of 11 gauge Stainless Steel for excellent strength and corrosion resistance and powder coated with the same UV stable automotive grade powder coating as the Ruggedized Crossbars.
This rack utilizes our standard 5th Gen 4Runner crossbars, so you can add on any of the available crossbars - regular steel, aluminum, stainless steel, or the wide crossbars for maximum flexibility.
The Stainless Steel construction is corrosion resistant, and should never rust with normal use!
